Sachin Tendulkar has picked up his favorite XI from the World Cup 2019.
Tendulkar’s XI includes five Indian players- Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya, and Jasprit Bumrah. Tendulkar has chosen Kane Williamson as the captain of his team.
Former Indian skipper and wicketkeeper batsmen, MS Dhoni could not find a place in Tendulkar’s World Cup XI team. He has included Mitchell Starc Archer and Bumrah as the three specialist bowlers, and Jonny Bairstow as the wicketkeeper. Shakib Al Hasan, Ben Stokes, Hardik Pandya, and Ravindra Jadeja also made it to Tendulkar’s team.
Rohit Sharma and Jonny Bairstow are the two openers while captain Kane Williamson comes in at number 3. Number 4 slot is given to Kohli, followed by all-rounders Shakib Al Hasan, Ben Stokes, Hardik Pandya, and Ravindra Jadeja. Then comes the three specialist pacers Mitchell Starc, Jofra Archer and Bumrah. Interestingly, no specialist spinner could make it to the Tendulkars World Cup XI team.
Earlier, the two India players — Rohit and Bumrah — were able to make it to ICC World Cup 2019 XI.
