Even though Team India lost the Semifinal against New Zealand, Indian fans got their new hero and a reason to cheer up- Ravindra Jadeja.
Jadeja emerged as the bright shining star through the dark clouds of pain and disappointment. His extraordinary performance with the bat and ball and brilliant fielding made him the superstar overnight. Even his worst critics could not resist themselves from praising him.
Jadeja was facing criticism for untold reasons and was targeted as “Bits and pieces” player by the commentator Sanjay Manjrekar. His performance in the semis forced Manjrekar to change his mind and statement.
ICC Tweeted a video of Sanjay Manjerekar praising Ravindra Jadeja for his briliant all round performance.

India lost in semifinals of world cup 2019, but Ravindra Jadeja won millions of hearts of all the cricket fans. He once again showed why his fans call him “Sir Ravindra Jadeja”.
He had come to the crease when India’s batting order had collapsed. The scorecard showed 92-6, but Jadeja took the charge thereafter and the target of 240 runs seemed achievable. He smashed 77 runs off 59 balls on a pitch where every non-wicket ball looked like an achievement. With two catches and a brilliant run out, he was extra-ordinary in the field. He also took an important wicket of Henry Nicholls in his 10 overs spell and gave away just 34 runs.
Ravindra Jadeja took to twitter and posted an emotional message thanking his fans and assured that he will give his best till his last breath.
Sports has taught me to keep on rising after every fall & never to give up. Can’t thank enough each & every fan who has been my source of inspiration. Thank you for all your support. Keep inspiring & I will give my best till my last breath. Love you all pic.twitter.com/5kRGy6Tc0o
