This big player might leave Rajasthan Royals ahead of IPL 2020.

According to the media reports, the former skipper of Rajasthan Royals Ajinkya Rahane may terminate his contract with the RR team to join Delhi Capitals for the next season. Rahane was projected as the face of the Rajasthan Royals team. However, Australian Steven Smith took over the captaincy of Rajasthan Royals for the last IPL season. Rahane was also not in his best form for a couple of seasons.

Rahane who had started his IPL career with Mumbai Indians joined Royals in 2011. He represented Pune for a couple of seasons too.

If speculations are to be believed then Rahane is set to make a big move for IPL 2020 season. Though the deal is not yet finalized it is said that Delhi Capitals are looking forward to getting Rahane by their side.

“Yes, DC is trying to get Rahane onboard, but too early to say if the deal will see the light of the day. A lot of things need to be taken care of before the dotted line is signed. RR’s take on the whole issue can also not be discounted since he has been a huge ambassador for them. But yes, talks are on,” the IANS source was reported saying by TOI.

Delhi Capitals already has Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, and Prithvi Shaw by their side.
